Hope Community Credit Union (Hope CCU) started in 1995 as a small church project. It evolved into one of the nation's leading community development credit unions (CDCUs) with a focus on providing affordable financial products and services for low- to moderate- income people across the Mid South.
Based in Jackson, Mississippi, Hope CCU serves the four-state region of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and seeks to promote savings and community reinvestment in distressed communities, educate youth about economics and finance, and provide greater access to financial services for its members.
Recently, Hope CCU went through a large merger which involved a move to a new core host solution. In addition, they began evaluating online banking options, specifically seeking a vendor who offered an on-premise solution with the ability to customize interfaces to reflect Hope CCU’s current branding.
A net new customer, Hope CCU chose S1 to enable an integrated multi-channel approach to the technology and services they deploy. Hope CCU went live on December 7, 2009 with Consumer Online Banking.
“With members spread throughout four states and many in rural areas, we are excited to work with S1 to offer our members better access to the financial services they need,” commented Richard Campbell, Executive Vice President, Hope CCU. In addition, Hope CCU is in the process of implementing S1 Mobile and evaluating additional solutions to give members the most robust anytime, anywhere access to their finances.
Hope CCU has 12 locations serving over 26,000 members, including an anticipated 7,500 online users.
